Our first job is to make you feel seen and heard. We're not just a photo/video team; we're advocates for the two of you and the wedding you want to have.
We respect the very, very limited time you have with everyone you love, and never insert ourselves for social media clout or take you out of the moment for a portfolio shot.
Stewardship of the environment
You're here and we're here because we all love nature (mountains, forests, trails, wildflowers, those funny little pika and stellar jays... we could go on). As almost all of our work is outdoors, we take our impact on the environment seriously.
Our whole process is rooted in Leave No Trace principles. We even choose to keep Forest Picture Co local to Colorado to reduce traveling and its effects on our carbon footprint.

Weekdays strongly preferred. Limited weekend availability.
1 – hop on a call
Our consultations typically last 45 minutes and we'll talk all about your vision for your wedding and how we can help. This is our first chance to connect as people and see if we're a good fit.
2 – book your package
Once you've signed the contract and paid the $1500 non-refundable retainer, you're booked! We're all yours! The remainder of your package is split into three payments, with the final payment due one month before your wedding.
3 – planning
We’ll be here for you throughout the planning process to answer questions and help you with locations, timeline flow, vendor recommendations, and other planning advice.
4 – wedding day + delivery
You get married! Yay! We deliver a photo sneak peek and video trailer to you one week later, and your photos and film to you within 90 days.

Absolutely! A lot of couples book us before they have their big details ironed out. We can help you choose your date and location if you'd like the extra guidance.

We get a feel for your music taste with questionnaires, then use a wide range of music libraries to get it right. We do not use copyrighted music in any of our video work.

We take on travel jobs outside Colorado on a case-by-case basis. Give us more deets on the contact page and we'll talk it over with you!

We know a lot, because we've seen a lot! We're hands on with location scouting, timeline creation, and vendor recommendations. We don't book or handle anything on your behalf the way a planner does, but ask us anything (seriously, unlimited questions allowed) and we'll advise.

You bet. Engagement photos are such a great way for us to get to know each other before your wedding day. If you'd prefer to test those waters before you book us for your wedding, we'll simply deduct the cost of your engagement session (minus any travel fees) from your package.

Zac is a licensed drone pilot. We try our best to get the drone up during your day, but sometimes weather and location (national parks, for example) can prevent it from happening. We will never fly a drone, out of respect, during your ceremony or, for safety, above people.

You betcha. We carry both equipment and general liability insurance (your venue may ask for that, just let us know). We back up all of your photos to at least three places prior to delivery, and then we keep backups of your edited photos in case you ever lose them. We're experienced enough to shoot anywhere, but we always do our best to check out your venue, even if it's only on the day of!
